If you are replacing a Culligan Water Filter (FXRC, FXRT, MXRC or HXRT), WR97X10006, or Kenmore part number 46-9905 for the first time, you will need to purchase this card, in addition to the GWF filter. The adapter attaches to the top of the GWF filter before installation. The next time you replace the filter, the map to stay connected to the refrigerator, so there is no need to buy another. NOTE: The water filter from Culligan shown in the photo is for reference only (not supplied with the adapter).
