GE SmartWater whole house sediment filter replacement Two-Pack (FXWTC) should GXWH01C & GXWH08C GE SmartWater Whole House filters. Fits many other brands of filters throughout the house to say accept filter 9.5 x 2.5 inches. This GE water filter cartridge reduces chlorine (taste and odor), sand, clay, silt, sediment, rust and particles (1-5 microns). It does not remove fluoride. GE recommends replacing the filter every 3 months or after 15,000 gallons of water have been filtered, or if you notice a decrease in the flow of water.
