There are several filters that correspond to the various Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner. Dirt Devil has parts confused and model numbers. They have model numbers and a series of letters (A, B, C). You must know both to determine the correct filter for your vacuum cleaner. This is the F1 filter. Most Dirt Devils give you the reference number on the back or bottom of the machine. This filter is a filter cone (is bigger on the bottom where the hole is at the top). If the filter is one that is totally cylindrical (top and bottom are the same size) this is not good.
